2024 was an exciting year with the first foals of Australian-based US-bred stallion E L Titan on the ground.
His first crop features more than 30 offspring.
They are out of dams such as multiple group 1 producer Pretty Peggy Sue, group 1-placed All The Remains, French-bred Beautiful River (dam of the promising Lotus Louise), 10-time winner Cyclone Jet (dam of unbeaten Derek The Jet), group 3 winner Naked Ambition and group 1 producer Modern Maori.
Bookings to E L Titan have again been strong this breeding season.
The son of Muscle Hill arrived in Australia as a proven sire in the US with more than 100 winners.
Of his 2yo winners in the US this year, Habanero Blues was a stand-out in going 1:56.4.
His 3yos have also impressed, placing him in the top 20 leading money-winning sires for the age group for the second year in a row.
This has followed the same feat in 2022 and 2023 in the US leading money sires for 2yos.
So there is no surprise that E L Titan yearlings are still in demand in the United States, with filly Shes On The Money being purchased for $95,000 at the famed Harrisburg sale.
Two others of his lots attracted $75,000.
The demand for E L Titan’s bloodline in the US now that he is Downunder is reflected by the numbers for his full brother E L Platinum, which this year has produced 11 2yo winners from just 16 starters.
