FRENCH-bred stallion QUAKER JET has produced two first-time winners

FRENCH-bred stallion QUAKER JET has produced two first-time winners - one in Australia and another in New Zealander.

Three-year-old filly FROM THE SWAMP opened her winning account at her second race start at Shepparton on June 2.

From The Swamp is the first foal out of NZ-bred Monarchy mare Tourmalet, which was a winner of two races and half-sister to group 3 winner Jarvofaks (13 wins).

Trained by David Moran, From The Swamp was bred by BA and D Copley, S Mulcahy and K Robinson.

Another three-year-old ARC DE TRIOMPHE followed up for Quaker Jet at Invercargill on June 6.

The gelding, bred by KR and GR Grice, was also racing for just the second time for trainer Phil Williamson.

Arc de Triomphe is out of Sundon mare Juliana - making him a half-brother to five winners, including Monty Python (by Pegasus Spur) and Father Christmas (Love You).

Monty Python and Father Christmas are each two-time group 3 winners in Australia. QUAKER JET’s other winners this season include group 1-winning filly Im Ready Jet, Dizzysjet and Electrojet.
