French-bred champion stallion LOVE YOU has had a stand-out 24 hours across the two sides of the Tasman.

dardbearer sired four winners, including a listed feature, and also made his mark as a broodmare sire on Thursday, February 18, and Friday, February 19.
WANNA PLAY WITH ME captured the listed LONE SIRES STAKES 3YO FILLIES CLASSIQUE, 1980m, at Addington on the Friday night.
She settled third in a small field of five before easing off the pegs with 1100m to go and sit outside the leader.
Wanna Play With Me saluted by a head after a two-way duel with Time Up The Hill down the home straight, rating 1:57.5 with the last 800m covered in 58.1 seconds.
Wanna Play With Me completed a double for Love You at Addington.
Another three-year-old filly SALVO took out a maiden, 2600m, at her fourth race start and first visit to the races since third at Methven in October last year.
Love You’s third winner for the day in NZ came in the form of two-year-old HIGH ON LOVE over 1700m at Alexandra Park.
High On Love was having her first start and scored by a half neck in 2:5.3.
The filly is the first foal of former top class racemare HIGH GAIT, which raced with success in NZ and Australia.
High Gait won the group 2 LONE STAR RICCARTON SIRES STAKES AND GROUP 3 NZ TROTTING STAKES as a two-year-old before heading to Australia, where she won the group 1 Redwood Classic and Breeders Crown in the same season, and group 1 Need For Speed and Victoria Trotters Oaks as a 3yo.
NZ-bred QUEEN ELIDA ignited the Love You run by winning a NEED FOR SPEED PRINCESS heat for three-year-old fillies, 1710m, at Ballarat on the Thursday.
She rated 1:58 with a last 400m in 27.6, giving her three wins – all in Australia – after starting her career in NZ.
To cap it all off, Love You mare LOVE YA DOOSIE’s three-year-old colt KYVALLEY HOTSPUR won a NEED FOR SPEED PRINCE heat in Ballarat in 1:57.9.
