HDT STALLIONS TO THE FORE

Haras des Trotteurs stallions Ready Cash Fra and Orlando Vici Fra were leading lights at the Melbourne Nutrien Equine Yearling Sale on Sunday.


Ready Cash was the sire of the Yabby Dam Farms-bred record-breaking filly which sold for $220,000.


This is the highest price paid for a yearling trotting filly in Australia.


N40 Racing and Michael Brennan Racing was the successful bidder.


The filly was the second highest overall price at the sale behind a $230,000 pacing filly.


An Orlando Vici colt offered by Oakbank Estate, was also in the top 10 prices at $75,000.
