HDT Stallions Topped Yearling Sale

Congratulations to buyers who secured lots at the by stallions we have stood Melbourne Nutrien Equine Standardbred Yearling Sale.


Volstead, which we stood for two seasons, had the biggest representation.

His 16 foals sold averaged $30,000.


His top lot, a filly out of French-bred mare Egee Money, sold for $100,000 - the equal highest price for a trotter.


She was bred by Yabby Dam Racing and purchased by Jess Tubbs.


A Volstead filly out of Gypsy Flair also attracted $50,000.


French-bred stallions Used To Me, Quaker Jet, Love You and The Best Madrik also had foals go under the hammer.


Love You had two lots fetch more than $50,000.

  • Love You Fra-Betty Hall colt - $57,500
