Orlando Vici’s champion son Just Believe is back.
The champ resumed from a break with a striking victory in a free-for-all at Melton on Saturday, August 17.
Having his first race start since a New Zealand campaign in April-May, the Jess Tubbs-trained Just Believe finished full of running to rate 1:56.5 for his 33rd career win to take his earnings to $1.6m.
He now backs up in the G3 Shepparton Trotters Cup on Tuesday, August 20.
Orlando Vici looks to have also produced another smart one and like Just Believe a late bloomer.
Designer Vici has gone from a maiden to a winner off his past three starts.
The 5yo is a half-brother to G1 winner Always Ready, which is on the HDT stallion roster.
