Heavenly Sister competed at the top level, racing against and beating some of Australia’s best trotters.
She was a two-time group 3 winner – capturing the 2016 RC Freestone Trotters Cup and Lenin Free-For-All back-to-back, beating the likes of group 1 winners Maori Time, Savannah Jay Jay and Vincennes, and multiple group 1-placed Lord Liam.
Heavenly Sister also ran a close second to Red Hot Tooth in 1:55.2 in the group 1 Lyn McPherson Memorial Breeder for Speed Gold Series.
She took an impressive northern hemisphere pedigree into her race career, being by champion sire Majestic Son Ca and out of US-bred mare Heavens Above, which boasts Star’s Pride cross through Super Bowl.
Heavenly Sister (1:56.5, 11 wins, $129,745) was the first foal of Heavens Above, which has four to the races for four winners. She is also the dam of Shared Interest (Angus Hall US) 1:54.6, 15 wins, $153,000; Namoscar (Ready Cash Fra) 6 wins; and Just Believe (Orlando Vici Fra) 7 wins.
Heavenly Sister’s first foal, a filly by Orlando Vici, will be offered by Yabby Dam Farms as lot 4 in the Nutrien Equine Yearling Sale at Oaklands Junction on April 10-11.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire the offspring of a highly credentialed French-bred stallion and a high quality racemare with impeccable breeding.
