French stallion QUAKER JET found himself in the winners’ stall as a sire in New Zealand on Thursday, October 15.
His four-year-old son HORACE HORSE saluted in the GARRARD HORSE AND HOUND TROT, 2700m, at Cambridge.
Horace Horse had had just the one previous win in six starts, having scored on debut last season.
Horace horse was bred by AJ and PRA Parker, and is raced by AJ Parker, PRA Parker, PJ Lewis and KJ Purdon.
He is out of race-winning Sundon mare Madam Heidi, which has produced five winners.
Quaker Jet is the sire three NZ-bred winners from just a handful of winners.
